Barcelona coach Hansi Flick took a check on Toni Fernandez in first-team training on Tuesday, just days after the teenager’s stunning strike for the B team.
Fernandez was one of several youngsters called up, with Barcelona still without several first-team stars due to the international break.
The teenager joined Noah Darvich, Alexis Olmedo, Landry Farre and Gerard Martin in taking part in the session with the senior squad.

Flick has already made it clear how impressed he’s been with the club’s youth since arriving and Fernandez will be hoping he has a chance to gain some first-team minutes this season.
The German boss was spotted checking out the Juvenil A side over the weekend as he continues to get to know the young players coming up through the ranks.
Barcelona are currently preparing for the weekend’s trip to Girona and the chance to maintain their perfect start to the season.
