Barcelona had their work cut out registering players once again this summer, with new signing Dani Olmo forced to sit out the team’s opening games after his move.
Olmo was eventually registered after Andreas Christensen was ruled out for four months through injury, but Barca still have work to do to avoid more problems in January.
Both Olmo and Pau Victor are only registered until the end of the year, meaning fair play needs to be generated to ensure both players can be part of the squad in 2025.
Joan Laporta has already spoken bullishly about Barca’s transfer situation. He says the club will be able to sign normally in January and is confident they will be back in the 1:1 rule.
A mega kit deal with Nike is likely to be a big help. Laporta said recently it will be the “best contract in the world of football” and will likely solve several problems.
