Barcelona’s salary limit rises massively to €426m

The figures are out

Barcelona’s salary limit has risen from €204 million last season to €426m, according to new figures from La Liga.

It’s obviously a massive rise for the Catalan giants but still sits some way behind Real Madrid’s limit which is set at €754m and is the biggest in the division.

Barca’s limit is now above Atletico’s (€310m), with Real Sociedad next on the list on a limit of €159m.

Barca aren’t quite at the 1:1 limit but not far off it, with Laporta having already said he’s hopeful it won’t be long until the club can sign normally once again.

The Barcelona president is still working on a huge kit deal with Nike which is expected to provide the club with an important financial boost.

It’s needed too as Barcelona still have issues with registering players. Both summer signings Pau Victor and Dani Olmo are only registered until the end of the year as things stand.
