Barcelona new signing Dani Olmo is said to be “100% available” for this weekend’s trip to Girona in La Liga after shrugging off a knock on international duty with Spain.

Olmo missed Spain’s win over Switzerland as he returned early from the camp after picking up a “heavy knock” against Serbia.

The situation led to fears that Olmo may be forced onto the sidelines for a spell but he is expected to be fit for the weekend, according to Marca.

The report details that Olmo hasn’t even needed any further tests this week and will return to training with the rest of the team on Thursday.

Hansi Flick will be happy to see Olmo back in action as he gears up for a difficult-looking fixture this weekend at Montilivi.

Meanwhile, Olmo will be hoping he can pick up where he left off for Barcelona, after scoring two goals in his first two games back at the club.
