Oral Health and Football - A Desk Research

In the past, I would have spent time crafting a long and well written article, presenting all the facts in detail meticulously. However, these days there seems to be barely enough hours in the day to get all tasks done.

Let's get to the brass tacks. I first heard of the importance of oral health on performance in football back in 2010 with media publications on the Milan Lab. Today, all areas of health are taken in consideration to ensure peak performance on the pitch. So, when Hansi Flick requested for Barça players to undergo oral exams before the commencement of training for the new season, it came as no surprise to me. Nevertheless, many cules found it surprising.

Listed below are a collection of old and recent weblinks consisting of webpage information, media publications, and research papers to give you a quick study on why Flick made his request, and also a hint why Xavi Hernandez requested for the return of Dr. Ricard Pruna during his tenure.
