Ronald Araujo has returned to Barcelona to continue his recovery from injury as he steps up his rehabilitation plans.

The center-back has been out of action since sustaining a hamstring injury playing for Uruguay at the Copa America.

Araujo subsequently had to go under the knife and has been ruled out of action until the end of the year.

The Uruguay international has also posted on social media, showing him working out in a pair of Barcelona shorts complete with his No. 4 on the side.

Araujo has shared a series of photographs and then added a motivational message at the end which reads: “Your advantage is that there is no one like you.”

The loss of Araujo has been a blow for Barcelona, with the Catalans having also seen Andreas Christensen ruled out for several months due to injury.

Hansi Flick has therefore gone with Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez as his center-backs and enjoyed a perfect start to the season so far.
