Barcelona release wacky new green third kit for 2024-25

Barcelona have issued their slightly weird new third kit for the 2024-25 season on Tuesday and it’s likely to divide opinion among fans.

The classy home and away kits have gone down a storm so far but the third kit is very different indeed.

And here it is!

Barca say the new kit is inspired by the “groundbreaking success of the women’s team” and also features a double Nike swoosh which “represents the acceleration of the women’s game and how Barça is such a leading exponent worldwide thanks to the team’s sporting achievements and its distinctive style of play, so recognisable by fans all around the world. “

Here’s some more blurb from the club’s website:

“This season’s third kit symbolises prosperity, growth, and progress in the fight for equality. Green, known for its connection to hope and rebirth, represents the dwan of a new era of equality and solidarity among women and reaffirms the club’s commitment to a prosperous future through an unbreakable alliance.”
